How can I check if a user is disabled in PHP? -


I am writing a PHP program to list user information.

I have to check that any user is disabled in / etc / passwd , so I have to check that a specific user * or! is the / etc / shadow file.

There is a problem here, my Apache server does not have access to the shadow file, and I think reading the shadow file is not safe in any case.

Can anyone help me with this problem?
